These things are quite warm. I need to let you know about a caveat though, the fabric is really stiff and it's really hard to button stuff, especially near the collar bone. There is a formal collar at the top which is completely unnecessary if you have a hoodie attached to it. Collarless would have been a better design, also have the hoodie match the camo print. This is a bit better than battle dress uniforms as they're cut ample in all the right places, so you can run layers underneath to keep your core warm. Pretty important when doing outside for any amount of time. The eyes of the buttons are really pretty tight when you first get these shirts. Build quality is excellent, however, you may need to do some trimming around the eyes as the sewing can be a little sloppy around those.
